Danielle temporarily relocated and wanted to list her newly renovated home as a rental. Knowing this would be her primary home upon her return, the design needed to reflect her love for neutrals, mixed textures, and McGee & Co. style, while also attracting tenants.
Our goal was to create a luxurious design that appeals to renters, maximizing profit until she returned to her primary home.
We leaned on a neutral color palette with striking black accents and varied textures to unify Danielle’s style preferences. We drew inspiration from her admired homes and Pinterest boards, and added functional enhancements like a game room. This ensures the design not only appeals to renters but also resonates with Danielle’s personal taste.
As a result, Danielle’s home secured a three-month booking within two days of listing and continues to receive glowing reviews for its elegant and cohesive design.
“Melody was fantastic to work with and truly has an eye for design! She turned our blank canvas into a modern, elegant, design dream house. Melody took the time to understand my style and vision and was easy to communicate with. She coordinated with us as she got started and we finished up renovations. Melody has great vendors and experience to help her stay within the set budget (with the goal of coming in as low as possible). She even incorporated furniture pieces and accessories we already had into her design. Melody was cost conscious, and the project finished under budget which was amazing! Melody and her team worked hard and fast to get the project done as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Joseph Ellen Designs and we hope to use them again in the future!“
